STUART H. FRANKEL, M.D.

 

Stuart H. Frankel received his undergraduate training from the University of Colorado where he graduated Phi Betta Kappa, summa cum laude. He continued his medical education at C.U. graduating cum laude in 1973. He interned at Mercy Medical Center in San Diego, and returned to the University of Colorado for his residency in ophthalmology.

Dr. Frankel is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado, and is a member of the active staff of Columbia Rose Medical Center.

Dr. Frankel is a third generation native Denverite who has been in private practice since 1977. A family eye doctor trained in all phases of eye care, he has a special interest in the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and laser vision correction. Dr. Frankel lives in Denver with his wife Karen and their two children. He enjoys fishing and bicycling in his leisure time.

REBECCA J. BROCK, M.D.

Rebecca Brock graduated from the University of Colorado in 1982. She received her M.D. degree from C.U. and went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. She received her training in ophthalmology at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

Dr. Brock returned to Denver in the summer of 1993 to begin her private practice as an eye physician and surgeon. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Brock's practice blends her unique training in internal medicine and ophthalmology with her special interests in diabetes, cataracts, and laser vision correction. She is married to Dr. Brack Hattler, a cardiologist at the University of Colorado. When they are not busy with medicine or their young daughter, they enjoy camping and bicycling.

TONI B. HENTHORN, M.D.

Toni B. Henthorn received her undergraduate training from the University of Mississippi where she graduated summa cum laude. She continued her medical education at University of Mississippi Medical Center, graduating magna cum laude in 1988. She interned in Medicine at UMC in Jackson, MS and completed her  residency in ophthalmology in 1992, serving as Chief Resident during her final year of training.

Dr. Henthorn practiced in Jackson, MS for eleven years until 2003 when she moved to Denver after marrying her husband, Harold.  She worked for two years at Spivack Vision Center and recently joined Associates in Eyecare.  She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  She was awarded a place in America's Top Ophthalmologists by the Consumer Research Council in 2006.  She served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi prior to her move to Denver, and is currently a member of the active medical staff of Rose Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center and Skyridge Medical Center.

Dr. Henthorn's practice includes not only traditional ophthalmology but also incorporates her special interests in oculoplastics, skin care, and cosmetic treatments.  When not busy with her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Harold and their young daughter. They enjoy golfing, skiing, snowshoeing and hiking.
